Listed in the Chrysler Registry, and representing
one of the most powerful of Chrysler's numerous
muscle car-era packages, this Challenger is a
spectacular car.

The sportiest of Dodges for many Mopar enthusiasts is the Challenger. The first-generation models were built only from 1970-74, but it was during the
first two years, when the R/T performance package was available, that created the legend. Challengers R/Ts could be optioned with 340, 383, 440, and
the race-engine-turned-street-sweeper 426 Hemi engine.

This gorgeous example was one of the 150 built in 1970 using the A102 Hemi-A727 automatic driveline combination. What makes the example being
sold here unique is that it retains its original 426 Hemi engine, backed by an automatic transmission and Dana 4.10:1 Sure Grip differential that was
optioned as part of the A34 Super Track Pack; this included cooling upgrades and power front disc brakes as well.

While many of these E-body Dodges were stripped-down, raced and abused, this rotisserie restoration still has two original broadcast sheets denoting
its factory equipment. It has been returned to exacting OEM condition, complete with undercarriage detailing. Among the other options were power
steering, dual exhaust with special tips, scalloped hood with hood pins, plus chrome hood and decal-applique air cleaner 426 Hemi callouts.

Furthermore, a dramatic color combination finishes the car, with an FK5 Dark Burnt Orange exterior, matching K4-code Burnt Orange interior, Black
vinyl roof, body-color steel wheels and Black longitudinal striping. The interior features the leather insert seat option, console with ball-topped Slap
Stick shifter, and factory radio.

In the trunk is the Space Saver spare and inflator bottle, and jacking equipment. Goodyear Polyglas GT tires complete the package. Listed in the Chrysler
Registry, and representing one of the most powerful of Chrysler's numerous muscle car-era packages, this Challenger is a spectacular car. Its
appearance and level of restoration would make it a stunning highlight of any collection.
